Animal testing should be banned for any reasons including medical purpose To what extent do you agree or disagree

People have different views about whether or not animal testing should be banned for medical use. Although I acknowledge animal rights, I believe that medical experiment on animal is the sole solution at this age.

There are reasons to consider to allow animal resting for medical purposes. First, it is necessary to conduct a medical test on new drugs. An inventor should put no doubt on his discovery before it is widely spread. In this case, animal is the single way to test. Second, animal testing helps to advance medical and scientific knowledge. To upgrade a new medical theory for example, it is should be experimented many times. Again, animal is available for its holistic purpose. Third, it is a well-known that many important medical discoveries involved experimentation on animals. Without help from animals, we cannot imagine on how a discovery is.

I have another perspective against animal testing for some reasons. First, the benefits of research using animals do not justify the suffering caused. A researcher has not absolute right to put animal as victim of his research. Second, people who torture animals for experiment have no moral right on animals. Somehow, animal’s lives should be respected as humans do. Third, I realize that medical knowledge should be developed through research, but I believe there are alternative methods of research to take without forcing animals as victim.

In short, it is debatable whether animals testing should be prohibited or allowed for medical reasons. Animal should be admitted its rights and medical research must go on as well.
