the chart below gives information on the global sale of hybrid vehicles between 2006 and 2009.
The bar chart illustrates the global sales of vehicle which use both fuel and electricity, between 2006 and 2009 in two countries, America and Japan.
In the chart, the trend can be clearly seen that the vehicle sales in the America tended to be the highest sales in every period, except in 2009.
In 2006, the total number of vehicle sales in US stood at 250.000. It was truly higher than the Japan’s sales whose only 50.000. The number was followed by other countries in the same number. However, in the next year to 2009, the America’s sales number showed a downward trend from 350.000 to 330.000. Although the Japan has fewer sales in three periods than the US, the number of sales consistently rose in every year. An increase averagely went up by 20.000 each year.
Uniquely, the last year, there was an incredible vehicle sales number in Japan which dramatically climbed by 240.000 sales. Moreover, other countries sales also rose in every year until 2008 and just about 10.000 sales of the increasing.
To sum up, the vehicle sales in America, Japan and other countries had different total number of sales. Although, the sales of America peaked in 2007, it went down in the following years. Conversely in Japan, while the number of sales were always fewer than US in three periods, it suddenly rose in the last year. Perhaps, increasing the number of vehicle sales in that era!
