The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared.

The two graphs reveal the outcome of a study about adult education. The bar graph shows the reasons why adults choose to study, while, the pie chart represents the people's opinion of how the cost of adult education should be shared. The horizontal axis indicates the adult's percentage while the reasons are indicated in the vertical axis. The pie chart is divided into three slices, which represent, individual, employer and taxpayer.

According to the pie graph, the major reason why mature individuals decided to study was because of the interest in the subject matter with 40%of those surveyed. This was followed closely by 38% of adults who wanted to gain qualification. Then 22% of respondents agreed that it was helpful for the current job, whereas, two groups of 20% gave the answer that adult education consists with promotional aspect and as an enjoyable experience. The final two categories respond that adult education was the reason to be able to change the job and to meet other people with 12% and 9% respectively.

With regard to the pie chart, the majority 40% of the respondents answered that adult education should be paid by individual's themselves. while, employers and taxpayers should also share the cost of adult education at 35% and 25% respectively.
