The following process reveals the continuous movement of water on the surface of the planet. It is known as the hydrologic cycle, which is essential in the working of the Earth.

The whole procedure can be divided into four main stages. It mainly consists of an infinite natural process which have a big impact on life.

The first stage involves the evaporation of water with the assistance of the sun. It is worth mentioning that around 80 percent of total water vapour in the air comes from ocean. Then, water vapour is condensed in the sky and, as a result, there is the formation of clouds.

In the following step, water falls as rain or snow. Simultaneously, rainwater and snow become on the one hand lake or river, on the other hand groundwater by going beneath the soil. The last step is the arrival of water in the ocean, in the course of which rainwater and salt water are mixed. To put in a nutshell, a new cycle can begin.
