The two lines graph compares the average price of sold and on market houses in some country across the last six months of 2005. It can be seen at first the widens gap between the two but after a few months the price of both houses turned nearly the same range.
In the first line graph which represents the on market housesaverage price. The sale price started as high as $350 thousand in July, the highest price among the entire selling range in 6 months period ever recorded. Then after two consecutive months the price dropped from $350k down to the lowest point which was less than $320k from initial average price. However, there was a 10% slight increase around Sept. Still the last two months had a decreased trend on market average price with $325k to $320k respectively,
On the other hand, in the second graph which represents the sold houses. The average price started in July was as low as $300 thousand exactly 50k lower compared with on the market price. After a month there was a minimal increase in price followed by a decline for a period of two months. Next was a steady increase from $290k to almost $310K which was not a big difference in price compared with the latter.
To sum up, the average price of both houses are almost identical after six months period in 2005.
