Internet as a form of technology has a lot more advantages than its negative effects in the development of a nation and the effectiveness of daily activities.Technology has made things easier and quite faster in the sense that people tend to do things that they might not be able to do when this technological advancement ;internet wasn't available yet.
Instances such as working from home,a lot of business owners and entrepreneurs do not need to run a fiscal business but can rather stay in the comfort of their homes and make money out of their work. Students are given a vast opportunity to learn lot of things that might not be taught in the school environs through the use of this advancement. Internet has tend to increase communication level of people in the sense that loved ones who are not in the same location can see and communicate with each other through so many social applications such as skype, imo .Researches are in turn also made easier and feasible with the use of the Internet.
Therefore,i think we should not lay so much emphasis on the negative effects of the internet because this can be controlled ,for instance putting up parental lock to some websites that are not benefiting to our kids.
I believe that social vices were there even before the internet discovery and will still remain there even if this things are terminated..
In my opinon,the internet has so much advantage that overides its negative effects.
