The table gives information about the expenses that students in 3 countries spend on 5 distinct categories every year.

Overall, the total expenditure of students from country A was the highest and country C was the lowest. Whereas accommodation and food both accounted for the largest proportion per total of 3 nations, the money that students use for leisure in country A and B was higher than books, in contrast to country C.

College students in 3 countries spend the highest amount of their budget on housing with 45%, 35% and 30% of country A, B and C, respectively. Coming in the second place in the rank was food expenses, while accommodation in country A takes the highest percentage among 3 nations, foods expenditure of this country however was the lowest with 22%, compares with 28% of country B and 36% of country C.

In spite of high total expenses, the money that students use for books in country A and B was much lower than that percentage of leisure with 3% and 9% compares with 22% and 23%, respectively. By contrast, the proportion of expenditure of students from country C on books was 21%, which was nearly double of 12% on leisure. The money spend on others was also high in country A with 8% and low in country C with just 1%.
