The bar chart displays how occupations were distributed by English citizens in both genders in the year of 2005. It can be clearly seen that men were mostly interested in management and technical aspect, meanwhile women tended to be keen on doing common office tasks.
In details, the most striking figure was 20% of men having skill-trades relevant job, while it was only 3% of women took part in. The same scenario happened to operation occupation (process, plant and machine operatives), which contributed as approximately 12% for men and 3% for women. Professional, technical and elementary were the three segments that have the same amount of employees by both genders, within the range of 12% to 15%.
On the other hand, women dominated in writing office task, especially in administrative and technical, which reached a peek at 22% respectively. Following that were personal service and sales and customer service, which were nearly 15% and 12% in order. The probability of men joined these aspects was quite low, no more than 6%.
