The bar chart provided presents information about the distance in miles traveled by men and women for six different purposes annually in a specific country.

According to the bar chart, it can be noticed easily that work was the main purpose for men to travel while women tended to go shopping instead.

When it comes to the number of miles traveled in a year by men, they had travel 35000 miles for going to work every day whereas women traveled less than 5000 miles accounting for 30000 miles annually. Days trip was the least purpose for both genders to travel comprising to 10000 miles for men and 7000 miles for women annually. In addition, although entertainment was also not a reason for traveling, its mileage trips data for both men and women was slightly higher than going on a day trip, which constitutes with 15000 and over 10000 miles respectively.

With regards to three other purposes, women spend most of their expeditions for shopping contributing for 30000 miles, which is approximately 2500 miles longer than men. Both genders had responsibility for taking children to school but men slightly traveled less than women at about 1500 miles each year. For the last purpose which is meeting friends, women went 25000 miles for having an expedition with their friend while men just traveled for over 20000 miles.
