The bar chart gives information about the choice of students divided into boys and girls in university subjects in 2005. There are clear differences between the boys and the girls.
Overall, Sciences and Maths were the most popular choices for male students in 2005, but non-science subject were more popular choices with female students as social sciences, languages, humanities.
It can be seen that social sciences was the most popular subject for women with under 25 thousand while the lowest number of just under 5 thousand. Humanities was chosen by as many men as women to study. Only 2 thousand man chose languages and over 2 thousand chose the arts. Girls chose fewer than boys in two subjects: maths and law.
