The bar chart illustrates how many people classified by gender attend to the four types of evening courses that have held by an adult education Centre in 2009, while the pie chart depicts the proportion of those people in the five different age groups.
It is noticeable that the women dominate by 3 out of 4 categories in evening courses, while the majority of attendance is people in the age group of 40 and over.
Both drama and language were dominated by the women up to half from men in each course at 20 and 40 people respectively. Similarly, painting had a slightly different number between men and women at about 5 people. However, from four categories, the sculpture was the course that had the proportion of men and women just below 10 people although the men were dominated at this category.
In terms of age group, the majority of attendance was people who had the range age group of 40 years and over. The highest proportion was a group of 50 years and over at nearly a half, while the least percentage was people under 39-year old below one-fifth.
