The bar chart compares the proportion of males and females in Australia in 6 different age groups who did exercise on a regular basis in the year 2010.
overall, it is noticeable that through all the age group except one, 15 to 24, ratio of females who took exercise regularly recorded higher than males. meanwhile, both group had almost same rate less then 1% of gap in the age group 65 and over.
On the one hand, percentage of Australian men aged 15 to 24 reached at peak with 52.8%, followed by aged 25-24 at 42.2%. It kept fell down to 39.5%, the lowest amount in the age group 35 to 44, almost around 13% lower rate than the highest. Meanwhile from the age 45, men saw upward trend till aged 65 and over group while proportion was still lower than the youngest age group.
On the other hand, the most australian women those who enjoyed regular outdoor activities were aged 45 to 54. This age group had the highest rate at 53.3%. The age group 35-44, 45-54, and 55-64 had similar figures, less than 1% gap each others at 52.5%, 53.3% and 53% respectively.
Meanwhile, from the age 65, ratio of both men and women saw almost same at 46.7% and 47.1%, only 0.4% of difference.
