The bar chart gives information about CO2 discharges from six forms of transport in the European Union. The pie chart compares the proportion of European Union funds in investment for eight forms of transportation.

Overall, it is clear that the amount of CO2 emissions in the air is the most, while the highest funds are spent for roads and railways.

Looking at the first graph, air pollution that contains the largest amount of CO2 eruptions, with approximately 370 grammes per passenger-km. Passenger cars are the next largest producers discharging close to 140 grammes CO2 per passenger - km. In contrast, the remaining forms of transportation such as Buses, Rail, Maritime and Coaches are the reason causing around 50 grammes CO2 per passenger - km.

Regarding the second chart, it is notable that the European Union spends the highest fund for roads, with 52% compared with 31% of funds invested in railways. Reversely, there is only 10% of money spent on public transport and a minor percent of funds (1%) devoted to ports, intermodal, inland water, airports and unknown forms of transport.
