The bar chart illustrates the worldwide turnover of four digigal games (Mobile phone games, online games, console game and handheld games) from 2000 to 2006.
Overall, it can be seen that handheld games was the most popular game in the world. During 7 years period, there was an obvious upward trend of mobile phone games, online games and handheld games.
The sales of handheld games increased gradually during this period (from nearly 12 billions of dollars in 2002 to nearly 18 billions of dollars in 2006). However, console games sales dropped in the same period (from under 6 billions of dollars to about 3 billions of dollars).
Human started to play online games in 2001 and mobile phone games in 2002. The number of users jumped dramatically after 5 years. It was around 1 billions of dollars in 2002 and more than 6 billions of dollars in 2006.
