The given chart provides information about the ratio of annual visitors in three types of London Museums over the period from 2007 to 2012. Overall, it can be clearly seen that there was widely fluctuation in all three museums.
According to the chart, it is vividly shown that, in 2007, the National Gallery had the lowest attendance rate amongst all museums with nearly 5.3 millions visitors annually. However, from 2007 to 2012, National Gallery experienced an increase and reached a peak of approximately 15.2 million people in 2012. Regarding Victoria and Albert Museum, in 2007, it had nearly 14 million audience per year, but in the following years, the museum witnessed a steady fluctuation and ended at 10 million visitors annually.
On the other hand, at the beginning British Museum was the second popular museum with almost 13 million visitors. Although, the museum’s attendance plummeted till 2009. Starting from 2010, number of visitors sharply increased and finished at 13 million visitors per year in 2012.
