The chart displays the results of a survey about how people bought and drank coffee and tea in five cities of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart).
Overall, the same point of five cities is that the highest percentage of city residents is people who went to a café for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks, the number of people used to buy instant coffee in last 4 weeks reached the second point and the lowest level is buying fresh coffee in last 4 weeks.
In Sydney, the proportion of people who bought fresh coffee in last 4 weeks is nearly 48% and it is a lower level in Melbourne (44%). The number displayed this figure in Brisbane and Adelaide is in balance (approximately 35%). And in the last cities, Hobart has under 40%.
The second option is buying instant coffee in last 4 weeks. Sydney registered 46%. In Melbourne, there is an amount of 46%, lower than Brisbane (around 56%). This figure of Adelaide is just slightly under 50% while Hobart has 54%, a higher percent.
The last preference is buying fresh coffee in last 4 weeks. The chart shows there is 62% of people preferring to go to a café for coffee or tea. The highest point of this amount is Melbourne (nearly 63% in total) and it’s also the greatest level. Hobart has the same amount, as well (62,5%). The proportion increased sharply in two other countries (56% for Brisbane and 49% for Adelaide).
In conclusion, people in five Australian countries tend to have coffee or tea in a café and there was a significantly lower number of people who prefer fresh coffee.
