The pie chart above gives information on the ages distribution of the population in Yemen and Italy over 50 years from the year 2000 to 2050.

It is clear that the trend in both countries is the number of children from 0 -14 years becoming lesser in contrast to the increase in 60+ years group.

In the year 2000, half of the citizen in Yemen was in a group of children under 14 years old, compared to the same ages group in Italy, it took the smallest percentage. Additionally, only 3.6% was older over 60 years old in Yemen, while there were nearly a quarter of civilians in Italy. The other group from 15 - 59 years old was quite large, took 46,3% and 61,6 % respectively in Yemen and Italy.

At the point of time 2050, they predict the changes in both countries. In detail, the number of children decreases by 37% and 11.5% respectively in Yemen and Italy. The older group rise a little higher (2.1%) to 5.7%, opposite to Yemen, this part of the population in Italy has risen considerably roughly twice to 42.3%, nearly the same ratio to the working group (46.2%). Overall, the movement in Yemen tends to be more relevant than in Italy.
