The charts compares the proportion of British citizen who donating to charity by the range of age between 1990 and 2010.

It is clear to see that offering financial support to charity is most popular for people aged from 36 to 50 in 1990, while in 2010, most of people giving donation are from 51 to 60.

In both of the years 1990 and 2010, people in the age group of 18 to 25 contributed to least in giving to charity, just approximately 17 percent in 1990 and nearly seven percent in 2010. More and more people are tended to giving money to charity when they are older. The year 1990 saw the age group of from 36 to 50 had the highest amount of people who gave money to charity, about 42 percent. The older age groups contributed a gradually less number, nearly 32 percent for people who over 65 years old.

In 2010, the highest number of people giving donation are from the age group of 51 to 65, with approximately 40 percent. People from 36 to 50 and people who are 65 and more are the second group with the most number citizen offering financial support to charity.
