The chart below shows the changes that took place in three different areas of crime in new port city center from 2003-2012.

The provided line graph illustrates about the number of incidents categorised by three different crimes (burglary, car theft and robbery) which occurred in new port city between 2003 to 2012.

Overall it can be clearly seen that there was the highest number of cases in the starting year which were reported in burglary, whereas the smallest number of crime was related to robbery.

It is crystal clear that in initial year newport city saw the maximum number (around 3500) of burglary crime which was increasing sharply till 2004, dropped rapidly over the period of 2008 and was accounted less than 1500 cases followed by car theft crimes which was in the number of 2700 in the starting year, started fluctuating after a sharp decrease in 2006, and was recorded exact 2000 incidents. Moreover, till the last year the number of crimes committed related to robbery was approximately double (nearly 2800) of burglary cases (almost 1400).

Moving further, third shot of crime which was Car theft, was reported as more than 500 cases in 2003. However, it remained about stable till the year of 2007, but started fluctuating and recorded as the similar number in the last year.
