The diagram illustrates the percentage of residents use public transport in a country based on their age and location in 2016. A quick overview of the chart reveals that in big city people who fall into the 31 and 45 age group use public vehicles the most while in other areas the highest percentage of young people use that kind of transport.
Looking at details, the proportion of people between 16 and 30 years old using public transports in other areas made up the highest proportion, at nearly 30%.However, in big city, people aged 31 to 45 used public vehicles the most, which the figure accounted for 65% throughout the time surveyed. The figure for children followed by around 26% in big city which was twice as much as in other place.
In the vicinity, people in early adulthood and middle aged people shared the same figures at 15%. Meanwhile, the figure of old people using public transports in big city was lower than that figure in rural area, with 19% and 10% respectively. Not surprisingly, the over 75 age group was the one that used public transports the least all over the country.
