Overall, the trend of full-time education seem to rise for both the genders, but the Part-time education in males shows a downfall and a gradual rise in females.
Firstly, the trend of Full-time education, In men there is a constant increase in the number, which approximately reaches to 200 thousand by 1990/91, whereas in women there is a drastic increase in first ten years. It is clear that in 1970/71 students were a few 100 thousand, and in 1980/81 they reached to near 200 thousand, but in next Ten years it showed a slight change in number.
Secondly, the movement in Part-time Education, The Females showed a steady increase in the whole period. Were in 1970/71 they were below 800 thousand students, in 1990/91 they crossed 1000 thousand. However, the opposite trend was visible in males. The males were 1000 thousand in 1970/71, then they fell to a number near to 800 thousand in 1980/81 and again show a slight rise in 1990/91. Hence, showing a fluctuating trend.
