The given column graph illustrates the information about proportion of adults of varying ages in United Kingdom who used Internet on daily basis between 2003 and 2006.
overall, it is clear that usage of Internet services was maximum among youngsters over the given period ;however, old aged spent less time on using Internet. Interestingly, senior citizens started using Internet in 2004.
To begin with, proportion of young ones who used Internet in first two years was equal which accounted for three fifths. During 2004, figure soared by a fifth, but in next year, followed by a dip and reached at 90%.In case of 25-44 age group, there was only a half of adults who used Internet in 2003 ;whereas, figure inclined and reached at nearby 90% till 2005 and in next year witnessed a minor drop.
Probing further, 60% of middle aged person used Internet during initial year then figure grew and after two years reached at above 80%. In respect of persons aged between 55-64, about 30% and 50% of persons used Internet in 2003 and 2006. Surprisingly, there was no use of Internet by old ones in 2003 and only about a fifth of people used Internet in later years.
