The provided bar graph illustrates the proportion of adults of various age groups using the internet daily from 2003 to 2006 in the UK.
At the first glance, it is evident that similar four-fifths proportion of adults aged between 16-24 in the year 2003 and 2004 were noticed daily internet users. There was a dramatic growth in the percentage of internet users to 100% in 2005, followed by a moderate decrease of 10% in 2006. However, a gradual growth can be observed in the 25-44 age group from 50% in 2003 to 80% in 2006.
Turning to the further information, everyday internet users in the 45-54 age group was 60% in 2003 which inclined slightly and reached at 80% in 2006. In contrast other age groups, 55-64 and 65+ aged adults used least internet but a little rise can be observed which accounted for 30% to 50% by the 55-64 group and less than 20% by 65+ age group in given years respectively.
Overall, maximum internet user was 16-25 age group while minimum were 66+ but all these showed an upward trend.
