The figure elucidates the percentage of parliament’s female members in several European nations between 2000 and 2012. At first glance, it is evident that Belgium experienced different pattern in comparison with other states.
To begin with, 2000 to 2012 witnessed a significant upsurge for the number of female members of parliament in Germany and France where it stood approximately at a quarter for France and at just below 35% for Germany and terminated to well beneath four-tenths for both countries.
