At first glance, it is clear that X axis shows the year information, while Y axis depicts information about the percentage of households. The bar with darker color shows information about households in rented accommodation, while the lighter color provides information about households in owned accommodation. In 1918, the households that own accommodation reached their highest amount in around 70 percent. Furthermore, the percentage of accommodation owners then decreased in 1939 to around 60, but maintained its level in 1953. The percentage then decreased gradually from 1961 to 1991, with the percentage around 50, 50, 40, and around 30, respectively. It then successfully retained its level in around 30 percent in 2001. 10 years later in 2011, the percentage increased to around 30 percent.

The percentage of rented households reached its lowest level in around 20, in 1918. It then increased in 1939 in around 30 percent, and maintained its level in 1953. After that, from 1961 to 1991, the number of households that rented accommodation increased to around 40, 50, 60 and almost reached 70 percent, respectively. Furthermore in 2001, the percentage was still the same with 10 years before. In 2011, the percentage then decreased into around 60 percent.

So, in conclusion, the trends of households in owned accommodation and rented accommodation are the opposite.
