The chart below shows the percentage of the population in the UK who consumed the recommended daily amount of fruit and vegetables in 2002, 2006 and 2010.

The bar chart outlines the proportion of daily consumed products by men, women and children in the UK in 2003, 2006 and 2010.
Overall what stands out from the graph is that the share of fruit and vegetables that was consumed by adults was more higher than young generation's proportion in all periods. Moreover the peak share of consumed products amid adults was women.
Looking at the details, with comparing all years, the largest number of consumed resources in all categories was in 2006.
The highest figure for women who consume every day was 32% compared to 28% for men. An addition, the figure for children was 16%.
It is clear from the rest of figures, However the smallest share of people consuming the daily recommended amount of fruit and vegetables was children with only 11% in 2002, comparing with last year it was increasing to 14%. Comparing both years 2002 and 2010, the percentage of adults who consumed more products was in 2010, for male category was 22% and 24% respectively.
