The chart below shows the result of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
The chart depicts coffee and tea consumption and buying habits of Australian people in five different cities as evident by a recent survey.
Overall, the highest percentage of people preferred to go to a café for their cup of coffee or tea, while the least amount of people bought fresh coffee to consume at home. The instant coffee use was in the middle of the two, except in Adelaide where it was the top form of coffee utilized.
It’s clear from the graph that most people in Sydney, Melbourne Brisbane and Hobart preferred to go to a coffee shop for their cup of brew. In all those cities more than 55% of people went to cafes, but the highest consumption was among citizens of Melbourne and Hobart at about 60%. The only city where it wasn’t the most favorite type of coffee was Adelaide, where instant coffee was slightly more popular at 50%.
In most areas, except Adelaide, the instant coffee was second most common form of coffee consumed, where on average 45% of people used it. The least drunk type of coffee in all cities was fresh coffee as on average 40% of people confirmed buying it in last 4 weeks.
