The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
The presented bar charts illustrate the information how people buy and drink coffee and tea in the cities as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart in the last four week.
Overall, the minority of people preferred fresh coffee, but most of all people bought both drinks in cafes.
It is observed that the majority of people in Sidney, Melbourne and Hobart went to a cafe for coffee or tea. The number of these people exceeded 60 percent respectively. Moreover, in Hobart more than 50 percent of people preferred the instant coffee, this percentage was higher than in other cities. Brisbane took the next place, where people drank the instant coffee.
According to the bar charts, less than 35 percent of people in Brisbane and Adelaide bought fresh coffee, while in Sydney and Melbourne these numbers almost achieved 45 percent. General consumption of both drinks is less in Adelaide, each of three categories show less than 50 percent of people apart.
