The bar graph illustrates the details of a survey conducted in five Australian cities, about the residents coffee and tea purchasing and consuming habits during the past month
Overall, in the five cities, buying fresh coffee was comparitevely low. Furthermore, in all the cities except Adelaide, most of the people went to a café for coffee or tea.
To begin, in Sydney and Melbourne the proportion of people buying fresh coffee in the last month was almost similar, at 44% and 43%. However, in Brisbane and Adelaide this was just below 35%. In hobat this was around 39%. When it comes to buying instant coffee in the last 4 weeks, Hobart and Brisbane stood first, just below 55% and at around 53%. In Adelaide and Melbourne this was 50% and around 44%, respectively. This figure was the lowest in Sydney, just below 45%.
In the case of going to a cafe for coffee or tea in the last 5 weeks, Melbourne and Hobart stood first at around 65%, whereas, in Sydney this was just above 65%. Finally, in Brisbane and Adelaide the figures were just above 55% and just below 50%,respectively.
