The graph illustrates the proportion of gross domestic products from IT and Service industry that generated in United Kingdom from 1992 to 2000. The units are measured as a percentage of GDP.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is crystal clear that IT industry produced majority of inventions than Service industry from the beginning up to 2000.
In 1992, IT industry generated more than 6% of new products with compared to service industry which provides only 4%. By 1994, the products of both sectors rose approximately more than 1%. By 1996, the quantity of IT production had a slight decline at around 7.9% and on the other hand service sector witnessed an upward trend around 7%. It is evident that the IT productions were dramatically climbed up to 12% by 1998 and moreover service industry produced approximately 7.6% products. The productions of IT industry increased gradually and ended up peeking 15% by 2000 and furthermore, we can see that 8.1% of products produced from service sector as well.
