The bar graph explains the gross domestic product generated by IT industry and service industry in the UK during time period of 1992 to 2000.

Overall, it is readily apparent that, both components increased as a percentage of GDP, but IT industry remained at higher place throughout the given time.

To begin with, in 1992 service industry accounted for 4% of GDP, whereas IT industry had high percentage (precisely 6% ). In the next two years, both components contributed in GDP with 6 to 8%. Moreover, there was less difference in the percentage of both industries in 1996, but IT industry still had more percentage than service industry.

In addition, over the following two years the patterns of the two components were significantly changed. The percentage of GDP from IT industry increased sharply up to 12% , while service industry was about 8% . At the end of the period, the percentage of IT industry was almost twice that of service industry.
