The charts below ahow the energy consumption in UK and USA in 2000 and 2006

The two bargraphs demonstrate the consumption of energy sources namely oil, coal, gas, nuclear power, and other renewable sources in the usa and th uk between the years of 2000-2006.Units are estimated in percentages.

Overall, the oil and coal consumed were the upward trends in 2000, however there was a noticeable reduction in the usage of coal. But the amount of gas used experienced a significant climb. Whereas the least preferred energy kind in both countries were other renewable sources.

In 2000, the consumed oil accounted for just above 40% in the usa and nearly 26% in uk, while in 2006 the figures of usa rose rapidly to 40%, and the rates of uk saw a slight increase by 2%. The next large number was in coal almost 30% and 35% in uk and us repectively.

On the other hand, the minimal decrease was noticed in the usage of downward trend reaching almost 2% in usa, in uk it maintained the same level. Also, in 2006 gas consumption in the uk was just above the 35%. other changes in nuclear power were considerable.
