The pie charts showed the percentage by the ages of Yemen and Italy citizens in 2000 and forecast for the year 2050.

Overall, people from 15-59 years old account for the largest proportion in the populations, while the percentage of the older who is over 60 years old obviously show the difference between 2 countries.

In Yemen, the figure for children under 14 years old was the biggest which was 50.1% in 2000. The second highest proportion was 15-59 years old people with 46.3% and the rest 3.6% was the older. Whereas, the percentage of children was forecasted will decrease to exactly 37% in 2050 instead with 57.3%, residents from 15-59 years old will become the most majority in the country.

While in Italy in 2000, the proportion of the older was higher than the number of children with 24.1% and 14.3% respectively. The gap, even more, bigger in 2050 when the projections show that there will be only 11.5% of the populations is children whereas 42.3% will be over 60. And clearly that the number of citizens from 15-59 years older will decrease from 61.6% to 46.2% in 2050.
