The bar graph illustrates, the number of people lived in five biggest cities like Tokyo, New york, Shangai, Bombay, and jakartha in three different years. While, table demonstrates, the highest populated cities globally in 1950 and 2010. Units measured in millions. However, line graph depicts, the proportion of people lived in urban and rural area over 30 years in billions.
Overall, all the given countries population increased over the 40 years period, especially after 1990. The biggest populated city was Tokyo with considerably, 30 million , whereas, Bombay accumulate significant amount of people recently. Similarly, most of the people interested to live in urban areas than rural when years pass on.
Initially, population in Jakartha and Bombay increases more than other given countries significantly, such as, in 1950 only five or less than five million people who lived in these cities, whereas, when 2010 it surged to approximately, 18 million and 27 million respectively. Similarly, Newyork, shangai consists of more than 10 million people in 1970 and 1990 and population increased over five million by 2010.
Secondly, as is observed in table the most populated city was New york in 1950 with 12.5 million whereas, in 2010 Tokyo replaced the highest position from 6.5 in 1950 to 27.6 in 2010. The least populated cities was Paris and Moscow in 1950 with mere 5.3 million, whilst, in 2010 all the given countries has more than 20 million population figured and instead jakartha comprise of 20.8 million people. Moreover, in 1980, population of rural area began at 3 billion which stay steadily over next 10 years later hiked up to 3.5 billion in 2000 and declined to the beginning count in 2010. Mean while in urban area near 2 billion population has pictured which dramatically increased following years and climbed up to more than 4 billion by 2010.
