There were about 30% of town A’s labor force working in sales and services fields, which was much higher than those in town B, at 20% and 10% respectively.
By 2010, services field peaked at 64% of the working population in town A, in comparison with a significant increase in those of town B (25%). In addition, the percentage of people working in manufacturing sector in town A and B experienced a considerable fall at 20% and 53% respectively. Notably, there was a double decline in sales sector in town A, to 16%, whereas sales field in town B grew slightly to 22%.
