The two pie charts compare the percentage of British learners who managed to speak other languages more than English in 2000 and 2010.
Overall, as is observed from the illustrations, vast number of students in both years were not able to communicate in other languages, but in English.
According to the given charts, in 2000, 30% of all students spoke just English and then these monolinguals increased slightly by 5% to 35% in 2010. Disregarding English, French and Spanish considered to be dominant languages among this particular institution in 2000, accounting for 15% and 20% respectively. These figures changed moderately in 2010.The number of those who spoke Germany rocketed from 10% (2000) to 15% in 2010.Also Spanish speaking dropped by 10%, reaching its lowest point at 10%.
Other languages except all mentioned above by which pupils were able to talk constituted 10% in 2000 followed by 10% rise in 2010.In addition, the number of those students speaking three languages improved from 10% to 15
