The charts illustrate the percentages of British students at one England’s university who had an ability to speak other languages, except English in the years 2000 and 2010.

At first glance it is clear that, at the beginning of the period, people who spoke Spanish made up the largest segment of the chart while German only and two other languages was the the lowest significant feature. In comparison, at the end of the period, Spanish still has been speaking the most in England while French, German, and no others languages, except English made up the lowest part of the chart.

The proportion of students speaking Spanish accounted for 30% of other languages than English and experienced to more than a third in 2010. A minority of students, 10% and 15%, who could speak two other languages and another languages in 2000, both increased to 15% and 20% respectively in 2010.

The proportions of students those had an ability to speaking just English and French only, except English were 20% and 15% respectively in 2000 and both fell to 10% after 10-year period. In contrast, those students who were able to speak other languages, German, remained constant in both years at 10%
