The charts highlight the consumption of the five different energy such as oil, coal, gas, nuclear power and other renewable sources in UK and USA from 2000 to 2006.

In 2000, oil and coal were the highest energy consumed by UK and USA, but USA dominated the consumption for both of them for almost 40%, while UK was only around 30%. Moreover UK consumption of three other energy - gas, nuclear power, and other renewable sources was higher than USA.

After more than a half decade, there were some changes in the energy consumption pattern between both countries. Although USA was still the largest consumer of oil by 40%, but USA decreased their consumption of coal to 25% and made the same proportion in gas usage. On the other hand, UK still used the oil in the same portion as in 2000, but than they declined the consumption of coal to almost 15%. UK changed their consumption to gas and became the highest consumer of it at almost 40%.

In conclusion, in 2006 USA was the biggest consumer of oil and also used the same proportion of coal and gas in the high level. While UK became the biggest consumer of gas and oil.
