The diagram below describes how stormwater is recycled in an Australian city

The picture illustrates the process of reclycing the stormwater in a city in Australia.
Overall, it is readily apparent that process involves five main stepds, which begins when the rainwater is collected by a drainage system, are followed by various futher treatment steps, and ends when the treated water is delivered into accommodation for domestic consumption.
Looking the diagram for greater detail, the intitial stage of the processs involves the rainwater falling on the roofs is collected by a series of drains, which flow into a water recyling plant. At this plant, the rainwater undergoes four futher purification steps. Largest wastes including plastic or other rubbish are firstly removed, and small particles are then discarded from the water. Bacteria and viruses are subsequently eliminated, followed by the disposal of tiny molecules and salt.
In the next stage, the puried water is transported through a pipe system into the first treatment tank where chlorine is added at a concentrate level of 4 mg/l for futher purification. After being stored in the second reservoir, the clean water is ready for being distributed via a pipe into houses for household consumption on sunny days.
