The diagram depicts the electricity generation process using geothermal energy. Overall, it is noticeable that the process is divided into 5 steps, from using Cold Water from Reservoir into transmitting electricity into National Grid.
In detail, the process begins with the first step where cold water which is stored in the Reservoir above the ground is being used. The cold water is then pumped 4.5 km down under the ground. Next, the second step involves injecting the cold water well into Hot Rocks, which is also known as Geothermal Zone. After passing the Geothermal Zone, the cold water turns into hot water and continues the process into the third step known as The Production Well step.
Next, the hot water is then pumped back up above the ground with the same height with when it was pumped down. Then, the hot water enters a Condenser, which marks the fourth step of this process. After that, the Condenser produces Steam which enters the Turbine cabin, before powers the Turbine to rotate in the fifth step. The turbine then powers the Generator to produces electricity which is then transmitted into National Grid.
