The diagram shows how electricity can be produced by geothermal energy in a geothermal power plant.

The process is divided into five parts. The number one is a cold water chamber where it is stocked. Under this we encounter a pump that pumped down the cold water till a place where there are hot rocks called geothermal zone. The rocks are at a deep of 4.5 kilometres. The passage is called the injection well, number two. When the water meets the hot rocks, steam is produced and it arrives to the production well, number three. Here the vapour is pumped up through a pump and it is stored in a condenser, number four. The steam arrives to a chamber which contains a turbine and a generator, number five. The turbine rounds thank to the vapour and the movement is transformed in electricity through the generator.

In conclusion, the geothermal energy is a green energy wich permit to create electricity without the use of petrol or coal.
