The diagram below shows how glass containers, such as bottles, are produced and recycled.

The given diagram depicts the procedure of manufacturing and recycling of glass containers. The production of glass starts from the mixture of elements whereas it's reusing process runs from the collection of used glass.

Overall, it is vivid that all the steps are compulsory to complete the production and recycling of the glass. There are 4 steps for glass production and 5 for its recycling, if one step is missed from both methods then the whole system will pause for that specific plan.

In the beginning, all the ingredients such as sand, soda ash, limestone and other elements are mixed up before melting it. In the second stage, the mixture is sent to the furnace where it is melted in approx 1500 degree celsius temperature. After this, the liquify content takes the shape of glass containers.

On the other hand, the glass reusing system starts by gathering waste bottles. Before the washing, it is sorted by colour. Following the second stage of sorting, all the impurities are removed by cleaning it in the third step. After the fourth stage of grinding and melting, ultimately, it is ready for moulding into new products.
