The diagram below shows the life cycle of a frog.

The given diagram demonstrate the development process of a frog.

Overall, there are obviously five stages in the growing cycle of a frog, which begins with the mating between two adult frogs and ends with the transformation of a young frog to an adult one.

First, the cycle starts with a male and female frog mating. This action results in the female frog laying several eggs in the water, which are called frogspawn. In the 2nd stage, these frogspawn would hatch into small tadpoles with a tail to swim in the caudal part of their bodies.

Afterwards, in the next growing stage, the tadpoles begin to develop limbs, with 2 hind limbs coming first and then 2 front limbs. In the 4th stage, still in the water, they are now called young frogs with their 4 limbs developed and their tails shoter than before. Subsequently, in order to become mature frogs, they would lose their tails and then be ready to leaver the water for land. Finally, the mature frogs continue to grow in size and ready themselves for mating as the cycle continues.
