The diagram below shows a possible future means of home energy production

The graph illustrates the procedural stages of energy making for home use with waste as its principal source. With this self-produced energy, we do not, later on, have to buy conventional power for daily needs.
In the nutshell, the generation involves six primary sequences with the composting process as a starter and electricity storage as a closer prior to electricity distribution to houses for daily uses.
Three initial steps have to be carried out before the gas is ready to be combusted. First of all, leaves, foods, scraps, and water fill in a composting tank; However, the materials cannot exceed ¾ of the total tank volume. The mixture will allow a fermentation process to occur, thus resulting in methane gas used as a basic ingredient for the next steps. Then, the methane gas is passed through to an ample methane gas storage before being funnelled into a compressor.
In addition to the three earlier steps, the compressed methane gas, as a result of the previous compression stage, needs incinerating in a combustion engine to convert the methane into mechanical energy. Furthermore, compared to the previous energy conversion step, the next step has the same purpose, but it yields a different sort of energy. The conversion process, carried out in a generator, turns the mechanical to electrical energy and the energy has to be stored first in a battery. Finally, the energy can be distributed to electrify houses for home use.
