The diagram shows the procedures in the process of manufacturing yogurt. It involves of seven steps. Things needed are milk, yogurt starter, sugar, strawberries, apart from fridge and thermometer.
To begin with, milk is boiled in 90 degrees for 30 minutes. The longer the duration it is boiled, the better the yogurt is. Unlike the first step, the next step is of cooling wherein the milk is allowed to cool to a temperature of 44 degree Celsius followed by a step of adding yogurt starter. This step is the key of the process and maintains proper temperature is a priority. It is this step where the live bacteria curdles the milk to curd by a biological reaction. Keep the milk for four hours until its temperature starts to drop. At this point the product is subjected to refrigeration followed by adding the sugar and flavor to taste. Lastly, it is poured into containers and transported to desired places.
We have to be very careful with the temperature control as we can see at every step temperature has a different role to play.
