The map demonstrates a project to build the two road tunnels in one Australian city in two periods time between 1987 to 1992 and 2004 to 2007.
Overall, it is clear that the infrastructure for each tunnel had a big difference. Noticeable, the cost of building the two tunnels.
Looking at the map in more detail, the tunnel A had appeared earlier and complete which before the tunnel B was a renovation in 2004. The second difference of tunnel A was established under a bridge, while tunnel B was refurbishing after destroying the river and replaced by sand and stones. Besides, the cost of renovation of the tunnel B was higher than that of tunnel A, from 556 million dollars to 1.1 million dollars.
Moreover, both depth and length in the tunnel A were shorter, with 25 meters and 2.2 kilometers, whereas tunnel B with 35 meters and 3.6 kilometers. Finally, both cross-section tubes of two tunnels that connect at both ends and allow different genres of transport such as a car, bus, truck and so on
