The flow chart below shows the three stages of glass bottle recycling.

The pictire illustrates the process in making and recycling bottle glass which is categorized into three stages.

Overall, the process start off when these bottles are collected for recycling and then sent to the factory to make new glass. After that, it will be sold to the supermarket where costumers buy it and so the process repeat again.

To begin with, the process starts at stage 1 wherein used glass bottles are collected for recycling. The customers first will have to drop off the used containers to the collecting point where the truck picks it up. After that, stage 2 is the step where brand new bottles are made. At first, once the truck received the used bottle, they will have to deliver these containers to the cleaning plant. In that place, the bottles are washed thoroughly using a high-pressurized water. Next to that, it will be segragated depending on its color (whether it is green, brown or clear). After clustering the bottles, it will be sent to the glass factory where they meticolously make a brand new glass container.

Turning to making of fragile bottles, first, it will be crushed into small pieces of glass for it to be easily liquified. After crushing it, these bits of glasses will be put into the heating furnace for several hours until it melt down and become watery in form. After that, it will be put on a glass mould and set it there to cool down and become solid again. Lastly, the brand new bottle will be removed from the mould and will be ready for the third stage of recycling.

Going to the final stage, once we have the finished product, these new containers will besent for filling/packing and will be sold to the supermarkets where they sell it back to the consumers.
