The plans below show the layout of a university's sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
The picture illustrates the current and the planned layout for improving the sports center in a university.
Overall, there will be several massive developments that will happen in the future. These include more facilities like changing rooms, leisure pool and, shops and the sports center will be able to cater to various sports like dancing, swimming, and sports hall for basketballs and volleyballs.
To begin with, currently, the facilities available on the buildings are an enormous indoor pool at around 25m just at the back of the reception, which you will see when you enter the building. In addition to that, on its left side, you will see a changing room, while on the right are seats. Furthermore, there is a gymnasium that is located further to the north of the pool. Finally, outside the sports center are two outdoor courts on each side of the building.
Turning to the future plans, pool and its' changing room and seats remained unchanged, however, massive change and refurbishment will be done on this building. To start with, it is obvious that the facility was constructed and expanded in a great expanse that it covered the space of the outdoor courts that was there before. Subsequently, the court on the west of the building became a leisure pool, whereas the other side was developed into a sports hall and two dance studios. Also, two shops were standing on each side of the reception, a sports' shop on the left side just outside the changing room and a cafe on the right side, opposite the sports' hall on the southern part. Lastly, the gymnasium was improved and became huge, extending from the changing room to the dance studio on the northeast corner.
