The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The layouts depict the plan of sport center and how it will be transformed after renovation. It is clear from the layouts that few structure will be removed completely, and several new items will be built such as Leisure pool, Dancing studio, and sports hall etc.

The main entrance of the university sport center is at the south, and will remain the same after redevelopment. Similarly, there will be no change at the reception location, central pool, seating area, and the changing room beside the central pool to the west.

The both outdoor courts will be demolished and several other facilities will be built. Firstly, while Gym will be made bigger, sports hall and two dance studios will be made available to the east of the central pool. Moreover, the west outdoor courts will be replaced by a Leisure pool. Two new changing rooms, one at the south-west corner and another one at south east corner, will be constructed in the sport center. Interestingly, a new sports shop and a cafe will added into the facility.
