The flowchart illustrates the production of coloured plastic paper clips in a small factory.
The provided flow diagram describes the process involved in the manufacturing of plastic paper clips in a small factory.
Overall, it is evident from the layout that this process consists of five important stages such as; moulding molten plastic, quality control for strength, sorting, quality control for colour and dispatching.
Firstly, the molten plastic is poured in three different types of moulds to get the desired colour of clips; that is, red, blue and yellow. After that, the clips undergo quality control check for strength, where weak clips are rejected and strong clips moves to next stage, where they are sorted by hand at the next stage.
At the stage of sorting, mix coloured and single coloured clips are separated by hand. Further, at the next stage quality control checks mixed and single coloured clips, and finally they are packed and dispatched for sale.
